China First Heavy Industries (hereafter referred as CFHI), grew out of the former First Heavy Machinery Works, was found in 1954 and put into formal production since June, 1960 by approval of the State. CFHI is an enterprise constructed as heavy duty equipment maker during the first five-year plan. Currently, CFHI has become one of 53 state-owned key enterprises which are directly administrated by the Central Committee and concerned with national security and economy.
