The masterpiece which was developed together by CFHI and P&H Mining Equipment Inc.—the biggest bucket capacity 4100 electric shovel for open-pit mine was successfully manufactured and delivered at CFHI Dalian production base on June 29, 2010.

The delivery ceremony was held at Dalian Nuclear Power and Petrochemical Business Department, CFHI. Sun Min and Fu Qun- Deputy President of CFHI, Pat Bartling- Global Operation Deputy President of P&H Mining Equipment Inc., Wang Yan-General Manager of P＆H, China and the related persons in charge attended this ceremony. Xu Chongyong-President of CFHI Dalian Nuclear Power and Petrochemical Business Department presided over this ceremony.

CFHI and P&H Mining Equipment Inc. established the strategic cooperation partnership since the 80’s of last century and co-manufactured P&H series 2300, 2800 and 4100 electric shovel for open-pit mine. The bucket capacity is upgraded from 20 m³ to 60m³. This time, the bucket capacity of these 3 sets of P&H 4100XPC-type electric shovels manufactured for the east open-pit mine of ChinaCoal Pingshuo Coal Co. Ltd is 60.8m³ (108 ton), which is the biggest electric shovels for open-pit mine in China. Both parties has already manufactured more than 30 sets of large-size electric shovels for domestic and foreign customers for 27 years, among which 3 sets of P&H 2300XPC-type electric shovels were exported to Russia, 2 sets of P&H 4100XPC-type large-size construction parts were exported to Australia, which made important contributions to China and world mining industry. 

Sun Min- Deputy President of CFHI made a speech in behalf of CFHI at this ceremony. He greatly appreciated the confidence and support from P&H Mining Equipment Inc. for many years and offered congratulations on the completion of the biggest 4100XPC electric shovels for the east open-pit mine of ChinaCoal Pingshuo Coal Co. Ltd on time. He said, CFHI and P&H Mining Equipment Inc cooperated for more than 20 years. in the course of the cooperation, both parties manufactured each kind of large-size mining machinery equipment; furthermore, CFHI accumulated a lot of valuable experiences in exercising staff, building top quality products, pursing of first-class technical level and modern management measures, and striving for perfect operation standard. 3 sets of 4100XPC electric shovels cooperated for this time is a new milestone in CFHI’s manufacturing field of large-size shovel for open-pit mine, which marked Sino-U.S. cooperation was continuously extended and developed in the mechanical equipment manufacturing field.
