CFHI owns strong independent innovation capability and system. The Tianjin Heavy Equipment National Engineering Research Center and Dalian Design and Research Institute are able to undertake the research and development of the first set (unit) equipment as well as new materials, processes, auxiliary fixtures and tools. They also have the capacities to convert the scientific and technological achievements and improve the manufacturing processes, technologies, auxiliary fixtures and tools continuously.

Nuclear Island Castings and Forgings as well as Main Components
        CFHI has the manufacturing technology in the main primary component castings and forgings for “two and half generation” and “the third generation” nuclear island. CFHI also passes the ASME N and NPT as well as France’s RCCM certification and develops the manufacturing technology of nuclear reactor pressure vessel. CFHI is the merely enterprise who has the reference and technology in nuclear power castings and forgings as well as nuclear reactor pressure vessel manufacturing.

Petrol-chemical Heavy Vessel Fabrication
        CFHI has the patented manufacturing technologies of forge-welded hot wall hydrocracking reactor. The 2040t coal liquefaction hydrocracking reactor fabrication by CFHI is the largest hydrocracking reactor in the world now.
CFHI has taken the lead in development and fabrication of large chemical industrial vessels in China, such as PTA reactor, epoxy ethane reactor, large-duty heat exchanger, etc. Based upon this leading technology, CFHI has gained customer’s trust and got more purchase orders.

Hot Rolling Mill Equipment
        CFHI has developed the patented core technologies in the hot rolling mill field and researched the internal advanced level, such as core technologies of hot charging, transport, direct rolling as well as AGC, APC, AWC, AJC in the HSMs and medium and heavy plate mills. CFHI is able to provide customized technical solutions and general contracting and system integration services etc.

Cold Rolling Mill Equipment
        CFHI possesses the capability to design and manufacture the internal level large tandem cold rolling mill with own patents. CFHI can provide general contracting service and system integration of reversible single stand, twin stands cold rolling mill and multi stand tandem rolling mill in the ferrous metal field. CFHI also owns the design and manufacture capacity of large aluminum and copper hot and cold rolling mills as well as the patented core technologies of single stand, twin stands and tandem cold rolling mills.

Large Castings and Forgings Manufacture
        CFHI provides the large castings and forgings for the subcritical 300-600MW thermal power units, including rotor forgings for turbine and steam turbogenerator, rotor forgings for large steam turbine without center hole and generator as well as the high and low voltage combined rotor forgings, steel casting for the supercritical steam turbines casing, and rotor manufacturing technology for super-supercritical thermopower-purpose rotors. CFHI also manufactures the large and critical castings and forgings for huge over 700,000 kW hydropower stations, such as the shaft, runner crown, band and blade etc.

Large Back Up Roll Manufacture
        CFHI has the manufacture technology of Cr5 and Cr8 steel forging back up rolls and high speed, high Cr-steel and high Cr-iron centrifugal compound work rolls for hot rolling mills as well as the diameter 1549mm steel casting back up rolls.

Large Ship Crankthrough Forging Manufacture
        CFHI has developed the forging manufacturing technology for semi-built crankthrough and passed the certification of Denmark’s MAN B&W, the Lloyd’s Register (LR) of Shipping of England and China Classification Society (CCS).

Heavy Forging Equipment Manufacturing
        CFHI has the capability in large patented forging equipments, such as the 15000t open die hydraulic forging press, the 5000t mechanical press and the 8000t hot die forging press etc. Up to now, CFHI has designed and manufactured slab cropping line, slab shearing line, full automatic press production line, in which hot die forging press, vertical and horizontal split die horizontal forging machine and die forging hammer as well as mechanical press have been developed in series. Most of the products have reached the national leading level and filled the vacancies in the domestic heavy forging equipment and large pressing equipment. Some equipment has reached the international level.
