As a head, CFHI is establishing the National Heavy Industries Research & Development Center approved and supported by the State under integration with the other five stock holders. This Center will target independent technology innovation on important equipment in the State level and promote heavy industry technology improvement. The demand associated with the State’s important project construction and heavy machinery industry will be taken into account. The consequent engineering research achievement will be unceasingly put into the domains of large plate/strip rolling plant equipment, heavy reactors such as hydrogenated, nuclear power and coal liquefaction, electricity power casting and forging, etc and provide the general technology to the industries by technology introduce, cooperation and self development. It will endeavor to research and manufacturing the domestic first heavy technical equipment in state-of-the-art, and form the integrated system competence under the leading of science research and become the main contractor of the whole engineering project.
